EMPTINESS

It was a rainy day, the rain

falling like the flowers showering.

This made me sad, very sad

Because this reminded me of my past.

The past I'm trying to forget

the past that haunted me

like the ghost haunting

the past that made me go crazy.

I walked through the rain with him

hand in hand, happy about myself.

But all these went so fast that next

day I woke up to nothing but emptiness.

We promised to stay forever
